Deva Jazz Fest is the event that keeps Deva on the map of important cultural cities, where artists unleash their free spirit and artistic creativity.
Art, in which freedom of expression constitutes the essence of its entire existence, will be represented here by the presence of exceptional artists who have demonstrated, throughout their careers, the influence they hold over the global jazz scene.
The event aims to ensure the necessary syncretism for a high-quality cultural act by presenting various artistic genres.
Local and international artists will take the stage at Deva Jazz Fest over the two days of the festival, from August 24th to 25th, 2024. Don't forget we have FREE ENTRY!
Deva Jazz Fest is not just a european level cultural event, but it is, indeed, a true experience!

Deva
Also known as the city at the foot of the fortress, Deva is one of the oldest settlements from our country's territory, being documented as far back as 1269. Positioned in the heart of the historical region of Transylvania, under the watch of the Western Carpathians, Deva takes pride in the rich history behind its fortress and in its over 40-year tradition in the world of gymnastics. Some of the most famous names in women's gymnastics, such as Nadia Comăneci, Ecaterina Szabo, Daniela Silivaș, and others, have trained here.
The Citadel's Park
The Citadel's Park is the place in which, every year, Deva Jazz Fest takes place!
The Citadel's Park, located between Deva's historic center and the foot of the citadel hill, is a main attraction of the city, both for the locals and for visitors & tourists. It houses the oldest historic monument building in the city – the Magna Curia Palace, which is over 400 years old.
The park annually hosts numerous artistic, cultural, and sporting events – all thanks to the serene atmosphere and the sense of well-being that greets you from the moment you enter.
